Flexible Shading Solution

Traditional Awnings System

Traditional awning systems have been in use for centuries and are still popular today due to their timeless design and functionality. These systems provide shade and shelter from the sun and rain, making them an ideal solution for outdoor living spaces.

A traditional awning system consists of a fabric or metal covering that is attached to a building’s exterior. The awning is typically supported by a frame that can be fixed to the building or freestanding. The fabric used in traditional awnings is usually made from materials such as canvas or vinyl, which are durable and weather-resistant. Metal awnings may be made from materials such as aluminum or steel, and can be designed in a variety of styles, from classic to modern.

One of the key advantages of traditional awning systems is their ability to provide shade and reduce the amount of heat that enters a building. This is particularly important in hot climates, where excessive heat can make outdoor spaces uncomfortable or even unusable. Traditional awnings can also protect furniture and other outdoor items from fading or damage caused by the sun’s UV rays.

Alfresco Straight Drop Awnings

The Alfresco Gearbox Straight Drops are the ideal combination of svelte style and straightforward functionality. These awnings may be manufactured as narrow as 100mm and 700mm (if motorised) and, if necessary, up to 6000mm in one span.

We guarantee to eliminate top tube sag up to 4,000 using high-grade steel top tubes. Our custom-designed bottom rail, made in Australia, is available in seven standard colours and offers a variety of mounting choices. The design even accommodates a stylish valance to conceal any unsightly gaps.

Moreover, these awnings can be motorised, making simple operation at the press of a button possible. We have a variety of motors to suit all price ranges. When a head box is added to the system, there is no longer any bird waste when the awning is rolled away, and it also helps shield the awning from the elements.
Because of the system’s adaptability, a wider variety of materials may be used to create it, including mesh for summer when the sun and wind are an issue. However, you still want to be able to see outside. PVC when keeping heat inside and rain outside throughout the cold. Acrylic provides the necessary privacy while allowing light to enter.

Alfresco Cable Guide

With the exception of stainless steel wires running down either side and employing 316 marine grade stainless steel brackets, this awning is essentially similar to the Alfresco Straight Drop. When winding the awning up and down, the wires are utilised to retain the bottom rail in a secure, stable position. The system can be used just as is. However, it is advised to secure the system because strong gusts can still lift and lower the awning with or without these cables. This system makes it feasible to motorize.

Traditional Automatic Awnings

Even though it was created decades ago, one of the first and best awnings on the market is still very useful today. This awning has endured time by remaining straightforward, durable, and valuable. The ATR awning is one of the few devices that may be securely left outside in almost any weather. Thanks to the straightforward twist and lift mechanism, the ATR will remain in place when desired positions are quickly adjusted anywhere along the guide rods. In addition, the “Automatic Top Roll” awning may roll away to protect itself from damage when strong winds are present.

The ATR provides adequate airflow into open windows and prevents heat from being trapped between your material and your home when the arms are removed from the walls. During your material’s lifetime, a spring-loaded top roller helps maintain a taught, clean appearance by keeping the awning beneath the full canopy under constant stress. When not used, your awning may be rolled away and left beneath the shelter of the colorbond head-box, keeping the material secure from the sun and rain.

Automatic S2000 Awnings

The S2000 Auto takes efficiency one step further by enabling simpler fittings on clad dwellings. One significant change in the S2000 head-box design is the addition of mounting brackets that can be installed separately of the hood, allowing for a wider choice of attaching places and making it simpler to lift and secure.
